Back to the Kitchen
I haven’t had a kitchen class this quarter, so its a full 10 weeks without actually cooking something in class. Hereafter, I’ve signed up for my kitchen classes, the next of which is CU102, the class about making apps, finger food and other miscellaneous dish types. In truth, I’ve missed cooking. I do it at home, sure, but its not the same sometimes. The juices tend to flow more when I’m in class and its a source of much excitement. The classes I’m taking now are okay, but they’re just that: regular class. Well, perhaps with the exception of service management, which hasn’t been very good to me lately. Manual labor, I’ve found, is not my strong suit.
Anyway, it’ll be nice to try some different things. Plus, I get to learn buffet style prep, which will serve me well when I do any events for family or friends as a start. It’s just really interesting and I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be exhausted, yes, but I think it’ll all be worth it.
