Seven More Days
I’ve said it time and time again… time FLIES. I have one more week at my job until my final day on the 15th. It’s been very hectic, just getting a lot of instructional things typed up and some final projects completed. I still find it amazing that I’m writing this reference manual to begin with, mostly because when I came into this place, I didn’t have BOO in the way of tutorials or help. It’s just as well, I’m mostly done.
Knowing how absentminded I can be at times, I’m sure I neglected to mention where I’m moving to. (It’s so good to know I’m not going to miss a single paycheck!!) The place is called Euro-Center, and they’re a travel insurance outfit with the main company based out of Europe. It’s on 57th Street between 6th and 7th, so I can go to the park (Central Park, that is) whenever I want. The lady I’m gonna be working for, Lisa, is really pleasant and seems like a good person to work for. I have no idea how much initial work I have in store, but I’m excited for a new experience. I will ALSO get the opportunity to travel to Europe (for business!) and continue my language study in one of the languages used at work for FREE. I love the whole prospect. Plus, get this… 4 weeks vacation! HELLO! That is beautiful. Just remind me to take the daggone vacation now… hehe.
Well, that’s it for now folks. I’m gonna clean up here and mozey on out.
