Relaxation – Mika Style
I’m finally home after days of helping Herman out with his move and unpacking. He’s getting a chance to actually enjoy his new home in peace and quiet. Well, sorta. I’m rather glad to be home. Every time I come here, I swear, I’m happy to be here. It’s such a great place!
It took the time to do some cleaning, throwing out the trash and getting rid of some old papers… then I had some lasagna for dinner. Now I’m playing Beatmania after weeks of saying I would. And you know what? It’s damned fun. 😀 I miss playing this game. Granted, I’m nowhere near as talented as some of those Japanese kids in the crazy videos and their fingers going a mile a minute, but considering the learning curve, I’m pretty decent. 😛
I was considering studying for the IRS exam, but that’d going to give me a headache.. hehe. It’s not exactly fun to read through concise versions of tax code. But it’ll be good extra cash for me. I’m in one of those weird money situations at the moment. I have just enough to pay for the essentials, but I have to buckle down on my “other” more elaborate and extravagant expenses. Although I don’t regret getting this laptop of mine; I love it thoroughly.
I know, this post is terribly random. I think I’ll read a romance book tonight. I’ve been reading a lot of them lately. Real romance, the kind that we write about, really is tough to come by. I haven’t really found guys to be stereotypically romantic, at least not in my personal experience. Then again, I come across as completely practical. A girl likes to be fussed over from time to time. At least that’s what I say.
