George Michael’s “Patience”

I am so in love with George Michael’s last album, “Patience“.

I’ve always been a big fan of his, even when he went a little weird on the world. This is so mellow, such beautiful lyrics and rich sound. He has this knack of multiple vocal blends that has been a staple of his work since the beginning. Songs like “Amazing” and “My Mother Had A Brother” are just unbelievable lyrics! For instance, one of my favorite set of lines from “Amazing”:

I was going down for the third time
My heart was broken, I thought that
loving you was out of the question
Then I saw my reflection
Saying please don’t let this go

Tell me, I guess that cupid was in disguise
The day you walked in and changed my life
I think it’s amazing,
The way that love can set you free

So now I walk in the midday sun
I never thought that my saviour would come
I think it’s amazing
I think you’re amazing

Isn’t that awesome? OMG… *shakes head* Well, that’s my little rant about Michael. You get my thumbs up, sweetie.
