Tanjoubi omedetou…

Today is my 26th birthday! 😀 At work, my co-workers Val and Laurie along with my boss, concocted a quickie birthday cake today and gave me cards and gifts. It was so unexpected and quite a nice surprise! It gave me a really good feeling inside to have the respect, admiration and caring of my peers. They are all very special and wonderful people. And I got to spend time with two people from my LP today and really get to know them. It was a wonderful day as a whole!

Today is also shichimencho day! (Turkey Day for you non-Japanese speakers!) I asked my group what they were thankful for and I pose that to everyone that reads this post. What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for being alive, my health, the roof over my head, the warm bed I sleep in and the job I have go to each day. I am thankful for all of the people in my life, both close and far, and for their constant support, love and belief in me. I am thankful for the transformational year I have had and how much my life has changed for the better. I am thankful for God’s many blessings, both tangible and intangible. I am thankful for the talents God has given me to share with the world and ever so grateful for the opportunities to do so. Lastly, I am thankful for the chance to be with people so that they can believe in their dreams and goals again and do whatever it takes to make it become a reality.

There’s more, but that’s the short list. 😀 Happy Thanksgiving!
